Delete your Tiyisa account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time. This page is for the Tiyisa – GLP-1 Tracker app by Synthetiq.

In the app

Quickest
  1. 1Open Tiyisa and go to Settings.
  2. 2Tap Privacy and your information, then Delete my account.
  3. 3Confirm, and you're done. Your account and data are removed from our servers.

Without the app

We'll email you a six-digit code to confirm it's you. It's the same kind of code you use to sign in.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and email address
  • Medicines, doses, injection sites and pens
  • Weight, water, side effects and notes
  • Food and activity entries
  • Reminders, settings and consents saved to your account

What we may keep

Records of payments, for five years, because South African tax law requires it. They hold no health information. And usage statistics that can't be linked back to you.

Everything else is deleted straight away. Copies in our backups are overwritten within 30 days.

Used Tiyisa without an account?

Your data only lives on your phone, so there's nothing on our side to delete. Remove it in Settings, or uninstall the app.
